I have started four fall placemats -- don't know when -- but I do like them a lot. One is pieced and ready to quilt. Now only 3 more to go. Easy-peasy, right????
And I have this snowman through the year quilt which is ready to sew all the rows together, decide whether or not it needs a border, and quilt it.
And I found this one that my mom had started hand piecing.
I think I will just square it off and quilt it in her memory.
And then two projects: One for a carnation topper shown above. And one for a manly throw.
And one more that needs some machine stitching around the appliques and then ready to quilt:
And one that I started quilting years ago -- I hope I have improved since starting this one!! --
So add 6 more to my list!! All in good time, right????
Oh, wow! LOL I had the same thing happen a couple of months ago when I found some UFOs from ages ago that I didn't even remember. One quilt even sandwiched and everything! Must've been in that closet for at least 15 years. . .
ReplyDeleteThe Poor Forgotten Orphans you found (that's what I called mine) look really neat, and I'm just LOVING the quilt you took the photos on. :D
P.S. Glad I'm not the only one with a monster UFO list. You're in good company. ;D The whole reason I started my blog was to motivate myself to work through those as quickly as I can around my family's needs and my studies (back in college for a history masters).
ReplyDeleteI love all your lost projects, especially the Snowmen. With 31 we might be equal.
