I had a great time at the show. I thought it was more crowded this year and lots of buying so hope that means our economy is turning around!!! Saw lots of b-e-a-u-t-i-f--u-l longarm quilting and domestic machine quilting which is what I really enjoy seeing. Helps me get my mojo back. Spent too much money, but you only live once!!
I bought some backgrounds to use with the batiks I'm getting from our guild batik exchange. This is just playing -- don't know whether to do lots of mini color wheels around the center large Dresden plate or do one large color wheel going round in the two borders. This is with one large. Of course, I only have the yellow exchange fans done, but you can get the idea of what I'm aiming for.
The picture beside the design is my EQ design with one large color wheel going around. Can't wait to get more colors so I can really see what it will look like.
Oh, and here's the chicks in their new home.
When I walk out to their pen calling "Chic-Fi-la", they come running thinking I have a treat for them, which I usually do. Haven't they grown!!! 6-1/2 weeks old!
I'm looking forward to going to that particular show, with my sister, when I move to the area next year....
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm looking forward to having chickens too! Yours are so cute!
