Periwinkle (some call it hummingbird) is finished! This was so much fun to piece with a ruler from Missouri Star Quilt Company (www.missouriquiltco.com) and 5" squares and their triangle papers. The pillows use a 2-1/2" square and their small ruler and small triangle papers. Check them out.
Sorry the pillow picture is blurry, but it shows the true color of yellow.
Now I am working of Debbie's BOM:
Today is a longarm day!! With all the rain we have been having, I haven't been able to quilt -- too many power surges. This was taken the first day but I'm really almost half finished with it.
Oh, how I love the sunshine!!!!
Lovely Periwinkle quilt. Someday I will quilt the one my paternal grandmother pieced back in the late 1920s or early 30s. Her octagons were just one piece--and all her pieces were much smaller. It's a lovely compendium of some wonderful pastel prints.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! The dragonfly and butterfly blocks. :D This is just lovely! Terrific work. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this! The pattern really leaves some great space for your beautiful quilting! I'm totally wowed.
