Tree of Life
I have finished my version of Edyta Sitar's tree of life. I added the oak leaf and crows. I also bordered it with migrating geese using Deb Tucker's instruction sheet. All made from scraps. Not one thing purchased for this quilt. I promise my fabric is like little bunnies -- breeding and multiplying. I have been working on scrap quilts and still don't miss any fabric!!!!
The binding hasn't been hand stitched to the back yet but otherwise it is finished!!! I like that word:
F-I-N-I-S-H-E-D!!!

Great job! I love it so much, especially the touches of appliqued leaves and birds - what tree doesn't have lots of both?

Hello, your version of Edyta Sitar's Tree of Life is absolutely perfect! I am wondering where you found the patterns for the oak leaves, crows and weather vane? My niece has asked me to make her a Tree of Life quilt and it very difficult to find anything even close to yours. Thank you in advance. I look forward to hearing from you soon. xo
