Two of Barb's Quilts

I finished Barbara's little basket quilt.

Two zigzag quilts in a row -- WOW! -- I was really glad to get a sampler.  I love the little baskets but like my lemoyne star -- every block was the same - and lots of them!!  This doll sampler quilt was fun!

There was a lot of space between the dolls so I tried to make it look like a curtain -- just pretend they are little chorus girls.  I sewed the binding on with the LA and it is ready for the hand stitching. 

I now have my Stars for a New Day which was the 2009 BOM at The Quilt Show on the LA.  It was designed by Sue Garmon.  It is a large quilt but, at least, there are lots of different blocks.
