A FEW MORE QUILTS FINISHED

This is Barb's 2012 guild BOM:

And I called the piecer of this quilt every name I could think of!!  She definitely needs to take Quilting 101 again!!  If she were a customer I definitely would not quilt for her anymore!!!  Oh no -- I'm the piecer!!!  What can I say other than I am so glad to get this off the machine.  It was a nightmare!

And for those who want to know:   NO, IT DOESN'T QUILT OUT!!!  Lots of little pleats in some of the blocks but my borders are square.

My garden path is back on the longarm after doing some "unsewing" because of tension issues.

A New Year

I've spent every spare minute organizing my 2-1/2" and 2" strips.  Every time I wanted to sew them, they were all wrinkled and I was out of the mood when I thought about ironing them.  So I spent time ironing ALL of them and wrapping them around a straw, organized by color.  I went from bins like this:

To this:

Now when I want to work, I can just pull out the colors I want and sew away!!!

I think our grandson was happy with his bike.
Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays.  We did but I am ready to get back to normal.
