This is our block for December but many of you wanted it early, so I am giving it now and you have lots of time to complete it.
FRAYED SAWTOOTH STAR
Fabric 1 (gray): Cut eight 2" squares
Cut four rectangles 3-1/2" x 6-1/2"
Cut four rectangles 2" 3-1/2"
Fabric 2 (salmon star points): Cut eight squares 3-1/2"
Fabric 3 (purple): Cut eight 2" squares
Fabric 4 (black): Cut eight 2" squares
Make four flying geese using the connector square method using the 3-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles and Fabric 2 3-1/2" squares. You will have four of these:
Make one four patch for the center using the Fabric 3 and Fabric 4 2" squares:
Make two four patches using Fabric 1 and Fabric 4:
Make two four patches using Fabric 3 and Fabric 1:
Make the center block:
Now add the remaining flying geese blocks and four patches and you will have this:
