String Quilt in Process

I loved Barb's string quilt so had to make my version of it.  Here are the appliques -- great eye candy!
I now have the two rows of the flower appliques finished and the center of the quilt sewn together.  I still need to machine applique the two side borders and get them sewn on.  Then it will be ready for the longarm.
So much fun -- and used so much fabric!!!
My father turned what I think is my grandmother's cast iron pot into a flower pot.  My nephew, Bruce, had rescued it when my parents house was sold and brought it to me this summer.  It is now planted with pansies.   Sorry I didn't get a better picture.
